Second Harvest Food Bank: We See
We see a child able and eager to learn. We see people becoming self-sufficient, and we see families living with a little less worry. At Second Harvest Food Bank of Southeast North Carolina, we see people growing forward beyond the meal.
Because when people aren’t hungry, we see the great things they can achieve and the lives they can lead. We see the smiles and kids excelling in the classroom and beyond with reported improvements in test scores and positive behavioral gains. And we see kids being able to play and just be a kid throughout the weekend.
We see the success of kids being able to concentrate, learn, and grow, and college students being able to focus on their studies and the careers that lie ahead. And we see the empowerment by teaching adults how to eat healthy and getting them on the road to self-sufficiency with a pathway out of poverty. At Second Harvest Food Bank, we see more than a meal.
And thanks to your support and generosity, Second Harvest Food Bank will continue growing forward beyond the meal.
