Partner Agencies: The Many Hands of the Food Bank

We’ve partnered with over 200 nonprofits throughout our seven-county service area, including churches, shelters, food pantries and other groups. These wonderful partners – our member agencies – serve as the food bank’s hands, distributing to their communities.

The member agency receives fresh food and canned goods from the food bank and its partner retailers. These products are stored and later distributed through various programs at the agency. The food bank can serve more people and operate most efficiently through this system.

Each member agency attends mandatory training seminars, participates in inspections, and records data for monitoring by the food bank and Feeding America.
