We’ve partnered with over 260 nonprofits throughout our seven-county service area, including churches, shelters, food pantries and other groups. These wonderful partners – our member agencies – serve as the food bank’s hands, distributing to their respective communities.
The member agency receives fresh food and canned goods from the food bank and its partner retailers. These products are stored and later distributed at the agency’s location through various programs. Through this system, the food bank is able to serve more people and operate most efficiently.
Each member agency attends mandatory training seminars, participates in inspections, and records data for monitoring by the food bank and Feeding America.
